The impact of a fall is optimally absorbed so that the child can get up and continue playing. Throughout Europe Van Zijl’s Veiligheidsgras is considered to be the best quality and most reliable product for optimising the safety of play equipment. Safety surface for indoors and outdoors The system consists of one or two base layers of shock absorbent S-Foam mesh covered mats that interlock with each other, providing durability and stability. The top layer of the system is a seamless artificial grass surface scattered with quartz sand. The type of artificial grass used depends on the location, indoors or outdoors. Impact absorbent for many years Compliance testing on concrete in accordance with NEN-EN 1177:2008 showed a fall protection from a height of 60 cm to 3 metres! It was also demonstrated that the impact absorbing value remains the same even after 5 years. With regular annual maintenance, the service life of Veiligheidsgras is 10 to 15 years. Sustainable Van Zijl Veiligheidsgras is 100% recyclable. Once the Veiligheidsgras® has reached the end of its service life, you can return the total product free of charge.
